I’m a passionate runner, shaped by the hills of Northern England, starting with fell running and competitively on the track. But I know passion is only part of the challenge for the role.

My career has spanned major brand transformations and digital-first marketing. I began at AEG, launching and marketing The O2. While best known as a music venue, it was so much more. My role included global event promotion, brand partnerships, local authority engagement, and tourism campaigns with the Mayor of London’s office. It was a real swiss-army knife of a role. One I very fortunate to have been a part of.
I was then approached to lead marketing at Salomon within Amer Sports, where I helped reposition the brand from the slopes to the trails, and eventually, to the streets, building the soft goods and trail running categories. A major part of this role was sponsorship and mass event partnerships. I was lucky enough to be involved in some of the biggest and smallest running races across the world within this role.
Driven by a desire to disrupt, I co-founded an Insurtech business called Guevara which was aimed at fixing a broken motor insurance market. We raised £2.5m in Series A and won Wired Money’s Start-up of the Year. Ultimately, regulation (Solvency II) made scaling difficult but the experience taught me commercial lessons that still serve me today.
In 2016, I joined Stance to lead its international expansion. With NBA, NFL, and MLB partnerships, Stance had incredible product and cultural credibility. Over seven years, I helped scale the brand to 2,000+ global retailers, launched retail doors across Europe, and built world-class athlete and event partnerships.
Post-Covid, I chose to take on contract roles to help brands recalibrate. I led rebrand efforts at Science in Sport and PhD, uncovering that brand health and equity was strong, it just needed focus. At SiS, this led to a UK-wide campaign; at PhD, we produced a science-led series with ultra-endurance athlete Ross Edgley, viewed by over 1 million people on Amazon.
More recently, I’ve helped global brands sharpen their voice and connect digitally with their audiences, working with brands like The North Face, Nissan, Nascar, The49, Oppo, and Jaguar Racing for Formula-E.
