John Lewis Christmas Advert
It's got to be one of the toughest briefs out there, so a huge well done to the crew down at Saatchi & Saatchi for producing a proper tear-jerker.
"If you can find the words, find a gift" is a Christmas cracker of a line. All whilst set to a reimagined version of Alison Limerick’s “Where Love Lives” by Labrinth.
From a positioning perspective this is a genius move. A late-30s to 40s audiences audience who celebrate nostalgia and have been pulled across to DTC brands and market places/Amazon. I'll certainly be dancing my way down to my local John Lewis for some last-minute pressies and a creamy gingerbread latte.
Well done John Lewis & Partners, for reminding everyone that emotion always wins 👏
